Visit Sunshine Coast wanted their website to be as remarkable as the destination itself, showcasing the diversity and many unique experiences to be had in the region, whilst also highlighting its proximity. Working closely with the marketing team, we redesigned the website to leverage on the repository of stunning images to showcase the best Sunshine Coast has to offer the world. The result was a beautiful responsive site that allows anyone on any device to quickly book their dream escapade at the Sunshine Coast.
We started with a digital strategy that was aimed to strengthen the destination’s credibility and diversify revenue streams. This included a series of workshops to review existing content strategy, crafting personas to understand each target market, and an in-depth desktop research into best practices across the Internet.
We decided to provide strong social proof by putting forward the beautiful photography taken by the visitors themselves. Using Instagram, we were able to import and curate from an amazing pool of user generated photos. We created additional functionality allowing the administrators to add contextual content that allows the user to know where and how they can go through that very same experience.
